I keep coming back to the phrase magnetic authenticity lately because I genuinely believe that’s what people are craving right now.

We’re living in a world where content is faster, slicker and more AI-generated than ever before, but the brands truly standing out are the ones that still feel deeply human. The businesses creating trust are the ones showing real people, real stories and real outcomes instead of perfectly polished marketing that says a whole lot without actually saying anything meaningful.

One of the biggest shifts I’m seeing in video right now is the growing importance of customer stories.

Not scripted testimonials that feel stiff and rehearsed, but genuine conversations that capture transformation, trust and experience. Buyers are more discerning than ever, especially in the B2B space, and they want proof. They want to hear directly from the people you’ve helped. They want to understand what changed, what the experience felt like and why it mattered.

What makes these videos so powerful isn’t just the content itself, it’s the emotion behind it. You simply can’t fake genuine connection. When someone speaks openly about the results they’ve achieved or the impact a business has had on them, people feel it.
