I swapped my vision board for the real deal.

From my fridge to France… here’s how my Veuve vision board came to life.

A few weeks ago, I had one of those pinch-me moments where a vision board dream came to life.

For over a decade, Veuve bottles have been regulars in my fridge - always with post-its marking the big goals I was working towards. Every time I reached a milestone, I’d pop the cork in celebration. And for the past three years, those iconic yellow-and-white Veuve Clicquot umbrellas have been pinned to my vision board as a symbol of living big, bold and unapologetically joyful.

So while in the UK recently for work and a family reunion, I grabbed a girlfriend, hopped on the Eurotunnel, and went straight to the source: the Veuve Clicquot Champagne House in Reims.

We explored kilometres of underground caves dating back to Roman times, soaked up centuries of history, and even scored some rare treasures - including the very last bottle of 1989 Vintage. And yes… I finally got my photo under those stripy umbrellas. Vision board item: accomplished.

It was a reminder that sometimes, instead of waiting for the perfect invitation, we need to create our own magic.
