What a night! 🎉

Last Friday night I had the absolute honour of MCing the 2025 Western NSW Business Awards, 
and let me tell you — what a night it was!

The calibre of businesses across our region continues to blow me away. From passionate start-ups to powerhouse teams making real impact in their communities, it was a celebration of resilience, 
innovation and local pride.

But what made the night even more special?
A moment of classic “real life” backstage.

Just before heading out the door, I realised I’d left my iPad charging at home. Cue that stomach-drop moment. My whole run sheet. My notes. Everything was on that iPad. And while paper might look 
old-school chic, trying to flip through pages on stage wasn’t going to cut it.

Enter Madds (from Snaps By Madds) a brilliant local business contact who answered my SOS call without hesitation. 
She turned up with her iPad and quite literally saved the day. 
That’s the power of community. Of connection. Of asking for help when you need it.

Honestly? I couldn’t have done the job I did without her.

And speaking of the job — we nailed it.

The energy, the applause, the standing ovations. It was a night to remember, and I’m so thrilled to 
share that I’ve already been locked in to MC again in 2026 in Orange!

Feeling incredibly grateful, a little bit sparkly, and absolutely buzzing from the whole experience.
