This wasn’t about learning something new…

Last month I flew to Noosa for Tash Corbin’s Heart Centred Business Conference.

Now, I’ll be honest – I didn’t go with the intention of learning something brand new.
I went to support a friend.
To be in the room.
To reconnect with incredible women I don’t often get to see in real life.

And that was the magic.

Living regionally, I love the virtual space – it’s been a gamechanger for staying connected and growing my business.
But nothing beats the energy of being in the room.
The conversations that happen in the gaps.
The laughter in the hallways.
The shared looks, nods and me too moments.

Here are a few reminders that landed deeply for me:

– Show up, even when it feels hard. You never know who’s watching. You might already be on someone’s vision board.
– Mark CEO time in your calendar – and treat it like gold. Getting out of your house, changing your environment, and working on your business (not just in it) is gamechanging. Use that space to create newsletters, record podcasts, plan your strategy... whatever lights your fire.
– The magic is in the gaps. It’s not always the keynote or the panel – it’s the conversation over lunch or the chat during the break that leaves the biggest impact.
– Connection matters. Real, human, heart-centred connection. That’s where the gold is.

This trip reminded me why I do what I do – and why showing up with care is never wasted energy.

So if your calendar’s looking full of “doing” and not enough dreaming, this is your sign to shift that.
