It’s not just experience they’re buying... it’s energy

Not long ago, I shared that I’d been in a bit of a funk.

Low energy.
Flat mood.
Feeling... off.

But here’s the thing – I’ve been in business long enough to know when it’s time to do something about it.

So I got my nails done.
I unboxed my wardrobe.
I spent a couple of days in the city.

And just like that, the spark was back.

Last month I went to Her Wealth, Her Way — a conference hosted by my beautiful friend Mel.

And I dressed for it.
Big ball gown skirt.
Favourite campaign tee.
Comfy sneakers.
Pink lipstick.
Fabulous earrings.
Spritz of perfume.

And off I went, walking through the city with a bounce in my step.

What happened when I got there?
Magic.

I bumped into women I’ve known for years.
TCL members in the wild.
Biz besties and long-time friends.
So many hugs. So much laughter.

Smiles big. Energy high.
And me, completely in my element.

I can’t even put into words how powerful that day was.

But I realised something:
I used to think I was selling my experience.

All the years of business know-how, the credentials, the strategies.
And yes – they matter.

But what people really come for?

My energy.

The spark. The cheer squad vibe.
The momentum that bubbles up when we work together.
The magic of feeling seen, supported and celebrated.

And that doesn’t come from a business plan.
It comes from me taking care of me.

So here’s your reminder – if you’ve been feeling off lately, flat or uninspired...
It might not be your business.
It might just be your energy.

Go for the walk.
Wear the outfit.
Do the nails.
Say yes to the event.
