As business owners, we are always riding the rollercoaster of life and business and it’s very important to surround yourself with people who will encourage and support you to step out of your comfort zone and go further.

Life is simply too short.

In this solo episode, I’m exploring how to step out of your comfort zone and live your best life.

I’ve been pushing myself out of my comfort zone in the last 3 months and it has been such an amazing experience. We had our wedding, spent quality time with family and friends who we haven’t seen for a very long time, went hiking on the Larapinta trail, travelled overseas on our honeymoon and then went on a trip to Sir Richard Branson’s famous Necker Island with the Business Chicks.

It was a jampacked few months of incredible experiences where I had to step out of my personal and professional comfort zone to live my best life.

I’ll take you through how I pushed myself and the insight I found as a result. I would love for you to take this episode as a sign from the universe to stop hesitating and just go for it! Whatever the step is or how big - just do it! You’ll be so thankful you did.

So, what are you going to do over the next 3 to 6 months that will push you out of your comfort zone and skyrocket you into living your best life?

Topics discussed:

[1:16]: I’ve just had 3 months of blissful fun. We had our wedding at the beginning of April and it was incredible after waiting for 2 years because of Covid.

[2:48]: As an entrepreneur, I’m always riding the rollercoaster of life and business.

[3:40]: I take you through what we packed into the last 3 months; our wedding, spending quality time with family, hiking, honeymoon and a trip to Necker Island and Larapinta. I stepped out of my comfort zone and trusted my team to keep the business going for me.

[8:38]: When you’re in an environment where there’s no technology, you become grounded again and find space for deep conversations.

[11:00]: My personal comfort zone was tested when I went snorkelling on my honeymoon. I wouldn’t have seen the wonders under the sea if I didn’t push myself in that way.

[12:30]: Necker Island is the home of Sir Richard Branson and I went there on a trip with Business Chicks. I wasn’t worried about meeting new people because I didn’t have to put on a facade and could engage in meaningful conversations.

[14:09]: All of this travel means I have been living my best life doing different things.

[14:57]: Regardless of how you’re stepping out of your comfort zone, surround yourself with people who will push and support you.

[16:37]: What are you going to do over the next 3 to 6 months that will push you out of your comfort zone and skyrocket you into living your best life?
