EPISODE 12

Welcome to 2022

Welcome back!

What a strange start to the year. The uncertainty and unpredictability surrounding Covid and isolation continue to influence the way we live our lives. But, don’t worry, we can turn this around and set our intentions for the year in a different way.

In today’s episode, I’m sharing with you the annual ritual I’ve employed to keep me motivated and focused on my goals throughout the year. I want to encourage you to inspire yourself in your daily routine by giving you ideas and examples to keep your intentions at the forefront of your mind. We all know we can often lose focus in these hectic times.

What have you put off until normality returns? Maybe you wanted to travel, expand your business, learn a new skill or enroll in a course. We must now accept that normality as we knew it may never return. I’ll run you through ways you can work your goals into this new normal so you’re no longer just waiting and waiting for everything to settle down.

Take a moment to listen, reflect on your year to come and enjoy!

Topics discussed:

[1:11]: The team and I are fully back on deck in our studio located in Sydney. This year has gotten off to a weird start!

[2:38]: Whilst there is a lot of unpredictability, there is the opportunity for us as leaders to influence, bring hope, strengthen and support each other.

[3:06]: I ended last year on the brink of burn out. We’ve been running at full speed for 2 years and I needed a break.

[4:13]: At the beginning of every year I buy myself a case of my favourite champagne. I put a post-it note on each bottle that states a goal I want to achieve (either personal or professional). My goals include: having another 7 figure year, buying a house, taking Fridays off all quarter.

[5:43]: How can you inspire yourself in your daily routine with something you love to keep your goals at the forefront?

[6:37]: My team and I have set boundaries for this year to ensure we don’t burn out again. We’ve narrowed down our focus and limited our offerings.

[8:01]: The doors for 2022 are opening on February 1 for the Video Accelerator Course. The course is 6 weeks long and the doors will only be open 3 times this year.

[10:28]: Think about everything you’ve put off until normality has returned. Normality as we knew it, probably won’t return. We need to embrace the uncertainty and the chaos and continue to plough forwards.

[11:07]: Look at what you’ve hoped and dreamed of doing and investigate how you can do it in a different way in 2022.

[12:28]: Come and join me inside the Video Accelerator Course. Sign up to the waitlist on my website to ensure you don’t miss out!
